Southwold Festival : 8 - 12 November 2018 Ways with Words
Each November Ways With Words runs a literature festival in the lovely seaside resort of Southwold, Suffolk - a popular retreat for artists and writers over the years.
Chestnutt Cottage is only 20 minute walk away from the Market Square and makes an ideal base from which to enjoy the many talks and events.

We are a family of artists who love Suffolk and Southwold.

I am a paper maker with an interest in surface texture often using junk mail pulps to create images of the Suffolk sea, , skies and landscapes.
My husband Chris was an architect and illustrator.

I was a child in Southwold (my grandparents lived in Gun Hill Cottage and my brother and mother in * Lorne Road).I am delighted to be able to share with others the joy of 'feeling at home in this special town..'
